Anchor Pro v2.0 - Anchor Design for Masonry per MSJC Code
Anchor Pro is an easy-to-use computer program to calculate the tensile and shear strengths of a single anchor or a group of anchors in masonry in accordance with the provisions of the 2005/2008/2011/2013/2016/2022 editions of the Building Code Requirements for Masonry Structures, which are referenced by the 2006/2009/2012/2015/2018/2021/2024 editions of the International Building Code (IBC) Chapter 21. Headed or bent bar anchors designed by ASD or Strength Design are supported. Through a simple and intuitive interface, it only takes a few minutes to input all the necessary information for the program to calculate the strengths of a single anchor or a group of anchors in all applicable tensile and shear failure modes. Users can quickly check a short version of the output to get final results or they can go through a descriptive, long version of the output to go through the critical steps of calculation in order to have a better understanding of different failure mechanisms. It is an ideal tool for doing quick iterations for design purposes as well as computing the design strength of existing anchor(s).
Major features:
- Unlimited licenses with no annual or maintenance fees
- Incorporates provisions of the latest edition of the MSJC code.
- Incorporates headed bolts and hooked bolts
- Anchors can be arranged in grid and perimeter patterns
- Supports application of direct tension, shear forces in x- and y-direction, and bending moments about three axes.
- A clean and intuitive user interface
- Detailed output showing all calculation steps
