Masonry Design Example Comparisons Using ASD and SD
Have you wondered what the differences are between allowable stress design and strength design of masonry structures? Do you know which method generally requires less required reinforcement? Are you aware of the advantages and disadvantages of each method? These questions and others are answered in this web seminar. The two design methods are compared through examples, with the examples including beams, pilasters, bearing walls, and shear walls. This web seminar helps you decide which method is most appropriate for your project.
